WHERE THERE IS NO VISION

Where there is no vision [no revelation of God and His word], the people are unrestrained; But happy and blessed is he who keeps the law [of God]. PRO 29:18 AMP

Vision-means the revelation of God and his word or new revelation of divine truth (1 Sam 3:1). It can also mean the hunger of hearing the word of God (Amos 8:11). According to Prov 29:11, having the revelation of God himself and his word (vision) makes a person restrain himself. Revelation of God and his word in your life gives you insight about your life, destiny and the like. The revelation of God and his word helps you realize who you are and the potentials you have in Christ. There are things you cannot do because you know doing this is belittling not just me but he who resides in me. And because of that you find yourself letting other things just pass you by. The word of God reveals the will(purpose) of God in your life and God's revelation (Holy Spirit) helps us understand that will (purpose) and work on it. Now a very common example one can have a revelation that i will someday be the president of a multi-million-dollar company, even if your account has less than 50k, you will still learn how to restrain yourself in your expenditures and your behavior. We can't find you in a bar embarrassing yourself because of the revelation you have in you that one day I’ll be the face and carry the reputation of my company and u start living like a president and someone who will someday take responsibility for a lot of people.

Lack of vision

·         leads to ruining your future before it even starts.

·         You find yourself having the desire to please everyone

·         You will fail to have a stand a lot of things in your daily life

·         Lack discipline in every area of your life because you don’t know what is required of you unless you get someone to direct you.

·         Becoming a puppet of other people's dreams, living and fulfill other people's revelations

·         You will stay in the same level because you don't have any motivation to fight and ask God to take you to the next level.

But despite, having the revelation, if you do not put to practice what was revealed to you, it is all for nothing. Let take a look at few scriptures. Prov 29:18b but happy and blessed is he who keeps the law (of God). (The law of God is found in the revelation of the word of God) If you know these things, you are blessed [happy and favored by God] if you put them into practice [and faithfully do them]. John 13:17 AMP.  But he who looks carefully into the perfect law, the law of liberty, and faithfully abides by it, not having become a [careless] listener who forgets but an active doer [who obeys], he will be blessed and favored by God in what he does [in his life of obedience]. James 1:25 AMP. If we just know/have the revelation, and do nothing about it (dont obey) it will not do us any good. We receive blessings and favor of God when we faithfully and obediently work on the revelations given to us. God's favor in all that we do.

Today, just take a moment and ask God, to reveal himself to you and his purpose for you, ask him to help you understand the purpose he has for you. But ask him to help you live that revelation, because we cannot do anything by ourselves. we need his help in every step of our lives. GOD BLESS YOU.
